Cover Art

These cover artworks are the fruit of a longstanding collaboration with the Swedish sound artist Erik Jarl. Jarl’s dark ambient, drone and experimental electro-acoustic compositions of ephemeral atmospheres and dark soundscapes have been a profound and lasting influence in my experimentation with abstract and macro photography. Over the years I worked with a 65mm 2.8 macro lens, employing a wide range of liquid substances, pigments, culinary fats, paints and textures in order to build images that resonate with Jarl’s sonic universe.
