Death Scene #1

Girls passing me by, losing their hills in the muddy forest path, sunbathing in the garden stretched on the neatly trimmed yellow grass, girls strolling around naked and drunk, laughing aloud on the street at night, girls making daisies wreaths for me, girls and their clients fucking in daylight on the terrace in the front of my window, girls dropped off by their parents and boyfriends on Sunday afternoons, girls bruised and crying, girls shopping skimmed milk and doughnuts, pretty girls, teenage girls, ugly girls, dead girls.

A memory of a sultry summer. Gdynia, Poland, August 1991
